Life Sciences

By elementary age, students are familiar with the basic parts and characteristics of animal and plant groups. Throughout the elementary years, the study of Life Sciences advances to include topics such as taxonomy, anatomy, identification, systems of the body, animal and plant adaptations, and the connection between humans and animals.

Students also learn Health Sciences, where they not only understand how the human body works, but also how to care for it. The curriculum covers topics such as nutrition, self-esteem, hygiene, and physical activity, all important components of leading a healthy life.
